Due to open as part of Toy Story Playland on 17th August 2010, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop will allow guests to strap themselves into bouncing parachutes at a toy training camp set up by the Green Army Men, where they train for their perilous Birthday and Christmas reconnaissance missions! After queueing past toy army equipment and maps of the mission, they’ll be hoisted up to the top of a 25-metre drop tower and allowed to slowly practice their landing bounce back to earth. A giant-sized balsa wood plane will sit nearby. Manufactured by Intamin to a custom Walt Disney Imagineering design, the ride is similar to Jumpin’ Jellyfish at Disney’s California Adventure.
