Completed in 2007, the Toon Studio Placemaking project aimed to improve the original Animation Courtyard area between Art of Disney Animation and Animagique. Though larger-scale plans for fountains, additional planters and animation-themed props fell to one side, the works did see a new patterned flooring laid, buildings repainted to blue, Peter Pan statues added to the Sorcerer’s Hat and a brand new entrance area including the Sorcerer Mickey marquee and tall box trees.
