Disneyland Paris Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity dark ride news, rumours & construction updates
A dark ride based on Pixar’s Ratatouille will open in Toon Studio at Walt Disney Studios Park in 2014 or later. The project has a working title Ratatouille Kitchen Calamity!, or Ratatouille: Désastre en Cuisine in French
Rumoured to use “LPS” Local Positioning positioning technology previously seen in Pooh’s Hunny Hunt at Tokyo Disneyland, along with state-of-the-art 3D projection technology, the ride could see guests following Remy in a chase through the kitchens. An adjoining restaurant and shop are also planned. Plans show a new building at the back of the land, next to the existing Imaginations costuming building which would be incorporated into the construction to form a new Parisian courtyard around a roaring fountain!
The attraction was formally announced by Disneyland Paris in February 2013.
