We were shocked, as you no doubt were, to read reports across the French media yesterday that a young man had been injured falling seven metres from a Walt Disney Studios Park attraction. Now more details have surfaced, however, it seems to incident amounts to nothing more than a man falling on some stairs.
The French media last night posted reports of a “serious” accident at a Walt Disney Studios Park attraction, now believed to be Crush’s Coaster, as a man apparently falls 7 metres.
Unworkable or inevitable, we asked of the attempt to implement the FASTPASS ticket system on this low-capacity attraction. Turned out, it was both. And just to prove that point — FASTPASS returns this month!
Or maybe both? Whilst we’ve already reported that the full-scale tests of the FASTPASS system on Crush’s Coaster are now complete, this is a question that will roll on for years to come. So let’s take an honest look — from both sides of the ticket.
If you went down to Toon Studio earlier this month, you were sure in for a big surprise. Not one, but TWO lines snaking away from Crush’s Coaster, and the commandeering of another attraction’s FASTPASS machines? Here’s the full story…
For Crush’s Coaster, the question remains: just how suitable is it for young kids? Some leave smiling and giddy… others crying. Now, new changes spell out the thrill, whilst an improved wait time sign spells out the real horror…
(5.04.2008 – 4.00pm) The party is in full swing, but who’s on the guest list? Let’s take a look through almost 50 official and unofficial photos of the VIPs who attended the launch weekend. Among them Virginie Efira, Barbara Meier, Sébastien Chabal, Jo Whiley and of course… Mickey Mouse.
At least, from those on the front lines. The jury’s still out on whether or not Crush’s Coaster should be equipped with the Disney’s Fastpass system. Following two weeks of a trial service, Cast Members and operations say “disaster”, but will the chiefs still bow to public demand?
