The epic hang-gliding film from Disney’s California Adventure and Epcot is rumoured as a future addition to Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, occupying the space between Playhouse Disney and CineMagique. Using IMAX Dome technology, the ride has a unique ride system which lifts guests into a soaring flight. Numerous plans have shown Soarin’ positioned here, and it is expected that the addition would also bring a complete overhaul of its surrounding area, turning it into a glitzy Hollywood Theater District of the 1950s. The film would likely not be Soarin’ Over California, as currently seen at the American parks, but a new film — Soarin’ Over the World, to be produced for all three attractions. However, the attraction remains only a possibility and is unlikely to be green-lit for several years.
